CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – POLICE on Nevis are in search of an individual who is suspected to be the person who shot two men in Nevis this afternoon (Jan. 23).
A statement from the Police Force’s Public Relations Office informed that initial investigations revealed that two men, one aged 52 and the other 36, were shot multiple times while in the vicinity of Teddyz Bar in Church Ground, Nevis.
It noted that the incident occurred at about 1:35 p.m. and the victims were transported to the Alexandra Hospital, where they are being treated for their injuries.
Information reaching SKNVibes states that one of victims is popularly known on Nevis as ‘High Science’.
Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit and Technicians from the Forensic Services Unit of the Nevis Division had canvassed the crime scene for items of evidential value.
According to the release, Acting Commissioner of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Stafford Liburd had informed that a suspect is being sought by the Nevis Division.
