Basseterre, St. Kitts - Always been interested in youth development and empowerment? Passionate about the increased involvement of youth in decision-making processes? Willing to work hard to advance national interests?

Then the St. Kitts National Youth Parliament Association (SKNYPA) is a great fit for you. Launched in 2001, SKNYPA has become one of the nation’s leading voices on youth issues and affairs. Although the Association first attracted attention for its stimulating Parliamentary debates, it has also undertaken a number of projects geared towards overall community advancement throughout its seven-year history. These include the 2008 National Symposium on Crime and the ongoing Project Democracy, an initiative seeking to simplify our constitutional rights.

SKNYPA is currently accepting applications from youth aged 12 to 30. Applicants will also be required to write an essay on a topic of their choice and submit it with their application.
