BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE innovative St. Kitts and Nevis-based online media company, www.sknvibes.com, recently launched its newly-redesigned entertainment section dubbed “Pep”.

Pep, which stands for People Entertaining People, contains new and exciting features that quench the appetite of all visitors to the section.

According to the Entertainment Editor, Suelika Creque, the new section has been in the works for some time as the team not only aims to bring entertainment to residents and overseas nationals, but also to regional and international visitors of the site.

“SKNVibes.com is and will continue to be the leader when it comes to entertainment in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. We know what the people want and we work overtime to ensure that all our visitors are pleased,” she said. “With this new section, we are not only catering to nationals of the Federation but we have also expanded our content to target more regional and international traffic to our site. We want to be ‘The Entertainment website’ of the Caribbean. So there will definitely be a lot more international artistes and events featured on our site.”

The programming for the website was spearheaded by Chief Technical Officer John James while the design of the new section was executed by Chief Operations Officer Cliff Richards.

The new section also features the site’s popular radio and television show (Pep Radio and Pep TV) where persons can send shout-outs on the Hail de Man board or send greetings for friends and loved ones on the Birthday Greetings board.

While on Pep TV, the site features a variety of local videos along with an archive of past “The Sugar Bowl Show” videos.

Creque said that the site also features Caribbean music countdown, a local music countdown and a section for brand new music releases from international artistes.

She said that the site is also geared towards promoting home-grown talents.

“We have always believed in our local talents and that is one of the reasons why we included the new section; an area where their videos and music can be featured so that they can get as much exposure as possible from our international visitors,” she said.

Leslie ‘Sugar bowl’ Morton said he is aware that the team was working on a new section but did not know the site would have been as huge as it is.

“I mean it is hours of entertainment here locally and regionally, plus it will be updated every week. This is one of the main reason I joined the SKNVibes Family to be able to always be expanding, never and never settling,” he said.

Morton added, “Well, now people really get to feel the Vibes. I really want to big up the technical crew that worked sleepless nights to get this up. I’m just too excited right now…I’m going to check out the site, later dread…YES I!”

Sales Manager of SKNVibes Shaniqua Carey said that the new section exceeds customers’ expectations.

“We have designed every page with our viewers and customers in mind. The brand new entertainment page is a one-stop deal, where you can get different genre of music, news and videos,” she said.

“This was done to attract all ages and all classes of people, and on each page there is a spot to advertise your business or service for a very affordable rate,” said Carey.

The new section also includes a model feature and a section with exclusive interviews with international artistes.

“So the site has something for everyone. This is the direction entertainment is going; no longer are people satisfied with reading about events or seeing photos, but they want to see actual video clips of events, or music videos or to listen songs,” said Creque.

The new entertainment section was officially released to the general public on Monday, April 27.
