BASSETERRE, St. Kitts- ST. MAARTEN’S Carnival, which began on April 16 under the theme “Looking Splendid and Fine for Carnival 2009”, will end with a ‘Jump Up Session’ on Monday, May 3.
Yesterday (Apr. 30), carnival activities continued with the Grand Parade Day as revellers paraded through the streets of St. Maarten in a variety of colorful and decorative costumes.
Today, however, will feature the Labour Day Parade while on Saturday the Soca Explosion Part Two will be hosted, which will be followed by a Carnival Lovers Appreciation Night on Sunday.
Thursday saw the J‘Ouvert morning jam and later that evening was the Zouk Night International Show.
