Sol EC Ltd is pleased to announce that effective May 11, 2009, Frank B Armstrong (St. Kitts) Ltd will be its new Distributor of 20lb bottles, 100lb cylinders and bulk liquid petroleum gas (LPG) in St. Kitts.
This announcement comes following successful negotiations between the two entities dating back several months. Frank B Armstrong (St. Kitts) Ltd has been a distributor of LPG products since 2003.
Country Manager of Sol St. Kitts Ltd, Ivan Hanley said, “We have very high expectations of this relationship with Frank B Armstrong not only from a business point of view but as it stands to benefit our current and future customers. We have every confidence that the distribution of LPG in St. Kitts will become more efficient through this arrangement. At the same time we want to assure our customers that neither the quality nor price of LPG will change as the gas will be procured from the same refinery from which our present stock comes.”
Customers of both Sol and Frank B Armstrong (St. Kitts) Ltd will be able to purchase their LPG in 20lb, 100lb and bulk from the Sales Office of Frank B Armstrong (St. Kitts) Ltd located at the C A P Southwell Industrial Park, or by telephone contact, via 465 4081 or facsimile 465 4306.
Meanwhile, customers using the 100lb cylinders are assured that both cylinders are interchangeable, hence the next refill will be seamless. Bulk LPG customers also use standard equipment and likewise their refill on or after May 11th will be seamless.
At this time however, the valves of the 20lb bottles from Sol and Frank B Armstrong are different. Users of the 20lb bottles are therefore advised to purchase their refilling service via their respective resellers island-wide until further notice.

Over the coming weeks, the trucks, cylinders and stands owned by Frank B Armstrong will be fully branded to Sol.
