Ms Andrea ‘Andie’ Charles expressed how she felt when she heard that she had won three of the ten slogans. “I am quite elated. I really hope that the slogans or “words of encouragement”, as I prefer to call them that, will at least touch one parent’s heart to make a difference”, she said.
The winning slogans which were selected from among 347 entries will be used in billboards and media advertising to remind parents and would-be parents of their responsibility in the education, upbringing and discipline of their children.
All winners received $500EC for each slogan won.
The Advancement of Children Foundation takes this opportunity to congratulate all winners. The Foundation would also like to thank all those persons who participated in the ACF Slogan Competition. Special thanks to the 200 BHS students who participated.
