Elmore Stoutt High School to hold spring concert

    Roadtown, Tortola - The Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) is set to hold its annual Spring Concert on Saturday, May 16.
    The concert which is one of the major productions for the Music Department will be held at the Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall at 7:30 p.m.

     

    Head of the Music Department, Mrs. Lelia Burke said “the students and teachers worked hard to produce an excellent concert.” She also expressed the hope that the public will come out and support the young people in something positive.

     

    The concert will feature all the musical ensembles at the school which include a senior and junior concert band, a jazz band, the choir and steel pan orchestra. The concert will also feature special musical performances and arrangements by students in the ensembles.

     

    Tickets are on sale at $10 for adults and $5 for children 16 years and younger, and for students Elmore Stoutt High School when purchased with their school ID.  The public can purchase tickets at Bolo’s, Elite Superette, the ESHS front office and the Music Department. 

     

    Members of the public are being advised to purchase their tickets early as the concert promises to be good and is therefore expected to draw huge numbers.
