SK positions for ‘fire’ with evangelist Errol Hall

By: VonDez Phipps, SKNVibes

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Christian community in St. Kitts is fired up for the third annual camp meeting organised by the Pentecostal Harvest Church featuring the dynamic and compelling Jamaican minister, Bishop Dr. Errol Hall.

This year’s crusade runs from May 11-22 on the grounds of the Beach Allen Primary School and will be held under the theme, “We are positioned for fire!” Over the last two years, the two-week camp meeting gathered hundreds of individuals to experience a worship and deliverance event that triggered a turning point in the lives of many.

Speaking to SKNVibes, event coordinator Shirna Pemberton said the crusade offers a time of “spiritual refreshing” as Dr. Hall ministers the Word of God in a relaxed yet compelling manner. She added that the worship experience and Hall’s testimony are bound to propel individuals into a closer relationship with God.

“The worship is for everyone and it often ranges from an intimate moment to a joyful praise. The main theme of Dr. Hall’s ministry is deliverance and he is expected to speak on issues related to generational curses, broken hearts and family, depression and the struggles of a Christian’s life. He supports his message by preaching on the power of Christ to deliver, heal and restore,” Pemberton said.

The event coordinator informed that Hall, who currently pastors the International Deliverance Centre in Florida, has a gripping testimony which he shares in reflection of how Christ delivered him from a life marred by poverty, emotional woes and spiritual confusion.

The charismatic Hall grew up in the remote hills of St. Thomas, Jamaica as a young Christian, but after experiencing countless cases of social turbulence he fled to Florida in search of a new life. Today, he preaches to persons who may find themselves in similar situations and he points to Christ as the only solution.

“He has a very powerful testimony for young persons to listen in order to see how God is able to bring change in their lives irrespective of what they have done and where they have been,” Pemberton said.

On Thursday (May 14), Dr. Hall will host a one-day seminar on Demonology and Breaking Chains and Curses. The seminar begins at 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and lunch will be served for participants. A small fee of EC$50 would be charged to cover expenses.

Another highlight of the two-week event is a Victory March slated for this Saturday (May 16). The march begins at 3:00 p.m. at Greenlands and would move through the streets of Basseterre as the ‘Body of Christ takes back St. Kitts for Jesus!’
