BASSETERRE (15th May, 2016): Thirty finalists will vie for various awards in the 2016 St. Kitts Tourism Experience Awards, which takes place on Saturday 21st May at the Carambola Beach Club.
The St. Kitts Tourism Experience Awards is the tourism industry’s most anticipated event. The event celebrates and recognizes individuals and organizations for their outstanding contributions in making St. Kitts a premier tourist destination. The Tourism Awards also encourages the continual raising of standards and reinforces the value of the tourism industry.

Minister of Tourism, International Trade and Commerce, The Hon. Lindsay Grant, said the St. Kitts Tourism Experience Awards publicly recognizes and rewards excellence within the industry.
“As the destination makes the transition into a high-end tourism destination, it is important that we encourage businesses to meet and strive to exceed industry standards,” Minister Grant said. “The awards play an integral role in rewarding outstanding service, innovation, industry professionalism, collaboration and initiative.”
More than 300 industry stakeholders from across the destination will gather at the awards banquet to celebrate, network and share the success of their industry, peers and colleagues.
