"Nuh Behaviour" on the West Coast

    KINGSTON; JAMAICA - Dancehall artiste KipRich left the island Wednesday morning to do a number of shows in California. While speaking about one of the events he laughed, "Ah me say 'nuh behaviour' enuh; the response was great." He continued: "Right now I'm just working overtime to get the music out there. I'm going to be off the island basically every week and den in between that you have to remember that I'm in the studio. It's a lot of work but ah jus dat mi a think bout this year."

     

    The artiste who recently released his new single Baby Mama Drama has been promoting it locally and the video can be seen in heavy rotation an the island's leading stations. In addition to the new single, KipRich's song Nuh Ugly So featuring Black-er on the "National Pride Riddim" produced by the Fresh Air Label is steadily climbing the local and international charts. Nuh Ugly So is now in the number 17 position on the "Chris Coxson Reggae Chart" on Birmingham, UK's New Style Radio 98.7 FM and number 15 on Richie B's "Hot Mix" (Hot 102) Top 20 Dancehall singles chart. "I'm happy about that," says KipRich, "I put a lot of work into these songs so it's good when people like it; and people can hear it (Nuh Ugly So) on some programmes on BBC 1Xtra, like wid Robbo (Ranx) and dem man deh." KipRich returns to the
    island on Sunday.
