KINGSTON; JAMAICA - Balancing school and music has been a roller-coaster ride for Reggae singer, Romain Virgo. It's no joke trying to complete a busy first year at the Edna Manley College of the Visual Arts, pursuing his Bachelor of Arts degree in Performance while maintaining a buzz in the music industry with his new singles, while doing shows, making time for interviews and putting the final touches on his debut album. But he's made it!

In the midst of contending with exams, Romain, last weekend performed at several shows across the island. His manager Dawin Brown of Vikings Records says, "He did a show in Runaway Bay, St. Ann which got a good support although it was raining. But can you believe the patrons stayed back for his performance and stayed in the rain to watch him?" Romain, who is already an exceptional stage performer was re-called to the stage a total of five times! After that event concluded, he made his way to the Taurus Bash in Ocho Rios where he ignited the stage with hits including Cyaan Sleep to the seductive Wanna Go Home and the newly released, This Love. The event also featured a slew of other popular artistes including Sizzla Kalonji, Bounty Killer and more. Then on Sunday night it was back to Kingston for the RJR Fun Day at the Ranny Williams Centre. Romain's performance was a major highlight of the evening's show. A patron said, "Trus' me di yute have crazy talent. Him lock it. Look how him haffi jump off the stage to get off, him cyaan walk the normal route."  Undoubtedly, Romain is poised to be one of the major talents for this year and beyond.
