BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – POLICE sources have confirmed that the young man who was shot multiple times this morning (Jun. 30) has succumbed to his injuries, making him the Federation’s 16th homicide victim for the year.
Identified as Khoy ‘Red Rat’ Jeffers, the deceased was said to be in or near an alley close to College Street Ghaut when he was fired upon and struck several times about the body.
The incident, SKNVibes understands, took place sometime around 7:00 a.m.
After he was injured, the Emergency Medical Services was contacted to transport him to the Federation’s chief medical care facility, the Joseph N. France General Hospital.
It reportedly responded quickly and transported him but he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
