Basseterre, St. Kitts 30 June, 2016 -- Sugar City Toastmasters club celebrated its one year anniversary and Blue Carpet Affair on June 4th 2016. This was such an auspicious event as members of the club were awarded prizes for their hard work and dedication. Also, the sponsors were recognized for their tremendous support over the year.
Sugar City Toastmasters club being the first community-based Toastmasters club in St. Kitts has been awarded President’s Distinguished status by achieving 9 goals out of 10. Our membership has also grown from first being 20 members strong to 32 members. Wow! Now that’s teamwork! The members are very delighted and proud to have attained such success in one year.
Friday July 1st, 2016 will start a new Toastmasters year. The members are looking forward to another successful year by not only attaining President’s Distinguished but achieving 10 out of 10 goals.
