BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – PRINCE Henry of Wales, better known as Prince Harry, is expected in the Federation later this year, as part of his official Caribbean tour.
According to information coming out of the British High Commission in Guyana, His Highness, Prince Harry, 31, would be on a seven-nation tour of the region - on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen.
British High Commissioner to Guyana HE. Greg Quinn made the announcement today (Sept. 5), pointing out that it is part of Prince Harry’s official visit to the Caribbean in the late autumn.
While in the region, His Royal Highness Prince Harry is expected to make stopovers in Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The young prince previously travelled to Barbados in 2010.
“This will be the first visit by a member of the Royal Family since 2004…” Quinn said.
This however, is an official tour which coincides with several countries in the region celebrating significant independence milestones.
