BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE Parray’s Village resident who was charged with the death of his 13-day-old son was recently granted bail, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has reported.
The organization issued a communique yesterday (Sept. 6) informing that Prince Yahweh Henry was bailed in the sum of EC$100,000 having spent in excess of 20 months on remand at Her Majesty’s Prison.
Information which was released by the police at that time of incident indicated that on November 22, 2014, Henry along with his son went missing and the following day, a search was initiated – by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force and the Ross University Island Constables K-9 Division - to locate both of them.
The police further informed that when Henry was found, his son was not with him but he reportedly took the police to the area where his son’s remains were disposed of.
The remains of an infant was found in the said area in Bayford’s Mountain and they were believed to be those of Henry’s son.
The young man was taken into police custody and reportedly charged with murder.
