BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has reported that a Sandy Point man was charged for allegedly causing damage to a number of vehicles owner by S.L. Horsford’s during mid-August this year.

A press release issued by the organisation informed that Allister Thomas of Stadium View, Cleverly Hill was charged with four counts of malicious damage.

The charges stem from an August 19 incident which took place at. S. L. Horsford's Automotive Division.

According to reports, on the day before the incident, Thomas had entered the establishment requesting to purchase a number of vehicles. He returned on the following day and was reminded that the vehicles would only be released for use on the road after payment was made.

Thomas was reportedly not pleased with the response and left the establishment, but returned shortly after with a piece of pipe with which he is said to have struck the windshields and back glasses of a number of vehicles.

He was eventually apprehended by civilians and removed from the scene by members of the armed forces.

Following his arrest, Thomas was committed to the Phychiatric Ward for evaluation but no information was provided on the results.

SKNVibes however understands that he was charged late last week and that if or when he makes application for bail, it is likely that the police would object.
