Taking Off! New Airlift Agreement To Increase BVI Air Access

    BVI, 15 September 2016 - The Government of the Virgin Islands welcomes the agreement between Delta Airlines and Seabourne Airlines to increase air access to the Territory and allows customers to purchase a single ticket for select flights between the United States of America and the Caribbean.  

     

    Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE said, "It will facilitate ease of travel to and from the British Virgin Islands, and help to position the destination as a more attractive jurisdiction for business and leisure travelers, especially as the Territory seeks to develop niche markets and value-added sectors."

    Delta Air Lines made the announcement on its website in an article titled “Delta and Seaborne Ease Connectivity Between US and Caribbean”. Customers can book travel with connections to Seaborne-operated flights between: San Juan, Puerto Rico and St. Croix; St. Thomas and St. Croix; San Juan and Anguilla; San Juan and Beef Island, BVI.
