BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - GRAMMY Award winner Shaggy has recently wrapped up a number of performances in Africa, where he thrilled thousands in Botswana, Zimbabwe and Uganda over the last weekend.
According to gottempo.com, Shaggy is the first international reggae star in 15 years to hit Botswana since fellow Jamaican Shabba Ranks back in 1994.
He headlined the Urban Legends Concert held at the Fairgrounds Holdings, where he performed alongside a host of local artistes.
Born Orville Richard Burrell, the ‘Mr. Lover Lover’ singer is currently promoting his new album ‘Bad Man Don’t Cry’. The ninth album under Burrell’s belt will also feature the title track single which has been a big hit so far and ‘Fly High’, another single to be released sometime next month.
He is also known for past hits like ‘Boombastic’, ‘Oh Carolina’, ‘It Wasn’t Me’ and ‘Angel’.
