October 3rd, 2016 -- "Reading is to the Mind what Exercise is to the Body." Sandy Pointers Inspiring Real Improvements Throughout (SPIRIT), during the month of October, will embark upon the first ever Community Book Drive Initiative.
The objective is to provide story books to the Sandy Point Community Pre School an in effort to ensure that the children have every opportunity and access to READ. SPIRIT also intends to conduct monthly Story Time Sessions with the children.
The Book Drive will run from October 1st to 31st 2016 and SPIRIT hopes to collect at least fifty (50) books for presentation to the School. Members of the Community are therefore encouraged to donate age appropriate books to make the book drive a success.
