Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis 4 October 2016 -- The National Association of Administrative Professionals (NAAP) of St Kitts and Nevis (St Kitts Chapter) celebrates 35 years this October 2016.
NAAP has given 35 years of training to office managers and administrative professionals who are employed within St Kitts and Nevis and has also extended its reach to coaching and mentoring students within the CFBC and high schools who are interested in that profession.
Activities in observance of the 35th Anniversary of the National Association of Administrative Professionals includes:
1. Church Service at the Holy City Worship Centre on Sunday, 9 October followed by membership brunch;
2. A workshop focusing on Soft Skills and Personal Development for 4th and 5th form high school students on Saturday, 22 October at the St George’s Parish Hall; and
3. A contribution to the Reach for Recovery Breast Cancer Association as October is also recognised as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Association takes this time to recognise the passing of one of its Founding Members, Ms Emelda Wilkin, after whom a public speaking competition has been named. Another series of the NAAP Emelda Wilkin Effective Speaking Competition is being considered for October 2017.
