Mr. Lenny Lake, Technical Director of the St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association (SKNFA)
It was synonymous as each person gave high commendations to the Sol IAS CFC and the Beach Allen Primary School for this strategic partnership. It was echoed that all stakeholders should take advantage of what has been put in place and to hone in on the necessary skills which are integral on and off the field of play.
Mr. Whiltsure encouraged other clubs like the Sol IAS CFC to adopt neighboring schools to enhance the footballing product and to offer some sort of guidance to the youths within various communities.
Highlighted by the technical director, "the right purpose and pathway leads to productivity". This productivity he indicated is an on and off the field component and vowed that the SKNFA will continue to be hands on in ensuring youth development and this partnership is fruitful.
The President of the Sol IAS CFC highlighted what this adoption means to the club moving forward. He stated that sportsmanship will play an intricate role in the overarching scheme of things, technical support on and off the field, the start of a mentor-ship program, social aspect of kids development, the religious aspect of the program and having a meaningful presence felt for the program.
The members and followers of the Sol IAS CFC reckons the importance of this partnership in light of the crime and violence among our youths. This we believe will be used as a vehicle to steer these aspiring footballers to a more positive alternative that will have a lasting impression and create a trickling effect.
Special thanks to the Beach Allen Primary School and its management team, our sponsors, Sol and Island Auto Supplies who have supported this initiative wholeheartedly.
