A memorial service is planned on the anniversary of Philo Wallace's death. Philo, a promising young cricketer was shot by an off duty police officer in the early morning hours of October 17th, 2015.
In the year since then there have been others shot by off duty police officers. Philo's memorial will also honour those persons as well as anyone who has been the victim of crime, including the young men who have died or been wounded in the name of vengeance.
We are asking the public to attend the service to pray for an end to the violence.
