Nationals in St. Maarten to hear from PM Douglas at Town Hall Meeting

    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, MAY 26TH 2009 (CUOPM) - Nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis residing on Dutch and French St. Martin will get an opportunity to hear about the developments in the twin-island Federation.
     
    Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas, who will be visiting St. Maarten to deliver the feature address at the installation of a new national organisation, will use the opportunity to meet Kittitians and Nevisians living there.
     
    The meeting, which takes place on Saturday 30th May will be held at the WIFOL Convention Centre.
     
    It will afford nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis, the opportunity to hear first-hand from Prime Minister Douglas on the economic, social, developmental and political issues affecting the twin-island Federation.
     
    Also attending the meeting will be barrister-at-law Ms. Marcella Liburd, Medical practitioner, Dr. Norgen Wilson and marketing executive, Mr. Glen “Ghost” Phillip.
     
    The most important segment of Saturday night’s meeting will be the opportunity by nationals to ask questions, provide suggestions and comment on the Prime Minister’s presentation.
