BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – SKNVIBES understands that a 38-year-old man, who was arrested for allegedly indecently assaulting a young boy, was charged yesterday (Oct. 18).
The man, according to information reaching this publication, is from Jamaica and was taken into police custody after a report was made to the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force that a young boy was the victim of an act of indecent assault.
SKNVibes was then officially informed that investigations into the alleged incident were made and the 38-year-old was taken into custody.
Reports which reached this media house suggested that the alleged incident occurred in vicinity of the Seventh Day Adventist Primary School where a schoolboy was asked to assist a man in carrying his heavy bags.
It is also alleged that there was an attempt to lure the child to a secluded area.
The man, whose name was given as Greg Boyden, was apprehended by the authorities on Saturday (Oct. 15) and was officially charged yesterday with one count of indecent aDssault.
He, SKNVibes understands, has yet to appear before the Court where it is his right to seek bail. Should he be granted bail, it is likely that a number of conditions would be attached to it.
