The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Nevis Disaster Management Department (NDMD) will be conducting a survey among 20 residents per district on St. Kitts and 20 residents per parish on Nevis.
The purpose of the survey is to understand how much is known about the tsunami hazard, in order to improve ongoing public education and awareness activities.
The survey will be conducted by disaster management volunteers over the period 20th to 25th October, 2016 and is part of a Disaster Mitigation Project funded by the st. Kitts-Nevis Basic Needs Trust Fund (BNTF) office.
The participation and cooperation of residents will be greatly appreciated.
