Win big with Carib Brewery’s Collect All Six!!

By: VonDez Phipps, SKNVibes

BASSETERRE, ST. Kitts – THE fun and excitement with the Carib Brewery (St. Kitts-Nevis) Ltd. has returned, but this time the challenge is geared toward students to “Collect All Six” and win impressive prizes.

The new promotion, officially launched yesterday (May 26), targets students at both primary and secondary levels between the ages five to18 and specially features six of some of the nation’s favourite non-alcoholic beverages: Giant Malt, Smalta, Ginseng Up, Peardrella, Ting and Juicy.

Entry into the promotion is a simple yet exciting challenge. Collect one crown from each of the featured drinks, place them in an envelope and seal it. Be sure to clearly write the student’s name, address, telephone number and school and drop it off in an entry box, whether at the school or at designated supermarkets around the islands. There are no specially marked crowns, so make sure you collect as many as possible to increase your chances of winning big.

Prizes including desktop computers, laptops, Nintendo Wii, MP3 players, one-gigabyte pen drives, Kipling bags, and $50 LIME top-ups. There will be two draws at each school in the Federation and, according to Carib Brands Manager Steve Laplace, the EC$200 000 promotion would give every student a fair chance to win.

“In order to ensure that everyone gets a fair chance to win, two draws will be done at each school. The first draw will take place before school closes and the second around Independence [mid-September],” Laplace announced at the promotion launch.

Laplace informed that the school with the most entries would be rewarded with desktop computers and would also have access to information and educational items from Carib Brewery for one year.

“We’ve had an excellent relationship with the schools and we see it as an opportunity to continue the relationship and to continue the loyalty with our patrons...That’s going to be mutually beneficial to both Carib Brewery and the school. This was designed so that the school could benefit,” Laplace said.

Managing Director Mark Wilkin said he is very excited with the new promotion as both students and parents could benefit from “sweet prizes”.

“Parents are also winners in this promotion as they get a chance to buy premium products for their children that will allow them to win sweet items that they would otherwise be normally pressured into purchasing for their children,” Wilkin said.

The promotion is scheduled to last until the end of September and would be quickly popularised by the famed entertainment sensation Leslie ‘Sugar Bowl’ Morton. Special six-packs would be made available shortly at various retail outlets during the promotion.
