PM Douglas expresses sympathy on death of Minister Harris’ mother

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, MAY 28TH 2009 (CUOPM) – St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas Wednesday expressed the Federation’s deep sorrow at the passing of the mother of Minister of Finance, International Trade, Industry and Commerce, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris.
 
Ms. Margaret Harris died early Tuesday morning after a prolonged illness.
 
“On my own behalf and on behalf of the citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis express our deep sympathies to Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris, his family and the entire Tabernacle community on the passing of the Ms. Margaret Harris. I urge citizens to remember Dr. Harris and the entire Harris family in your prayers, as I do the same, as they mourn the loss of a very dear significant loved one,” said Prime Minister Douglas during his monthly press conference.
 
Funeral arrangements were incomplete Thursday.
