BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - POPULAR male merchandising entity, The Polo Company located on Fort Street in the vicinity of the Circus, was late last night (Dec.11) or early this morning robbed of a quantity of items.
Information received by SKNVibes states that it was early this morning that passers-by realised that an individual or individuals had ripped open the shutter before making their way into the building.
When this media house arrived on scene late today, management of the company was in the process of repairing their security system and cameras that were damaged during the break-in.
This media house was told that it is believed that when the perpetrators gained entry into the business establishment they sought to disable the security system before stealing a quantity of items.
The entity was closed for the entire day.
It was observed that the doors bore marks of scratches as if someone had pried them open with a metal instrument, while the shutter that covers the front door was missing.
Employees were inside huddle together with the manager of the store.
The police were notified and investigations are ongoing.
