BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE 23-year-old who was previously charged with attempting to murder a bread delivery bus driver has been given another charge.

The Police Force’s Press and Public Relations Office issued a release today indicating that Akim Bryan was charged with robbery sometime yesterday (Jan. 10).

About four days ago, he was charged with attempted murder after a young man – who was operating an American Bakery bread delivery bus was shot while in Sandy Point.

That incident occurred on January 4, 2017 at about 8:00 a.m.

Bryan – who is also known as Nigel Phillip – was listed as the main suspect in the case and the authorities had asked for the public’s assistance in locating him.

He was however found during one of a number of exercises which took place in the District ‘B’ area and was taken into police custody.

The young man, according to the press release, remains in custody “pending a court hearing for bail”.
