It’s with regret we announce the death of Doris Helena Tyson better known as “Narnee” of Brown Hill Village. The sad event took place on Monday 29th March 2021 at the age 86 years.
She leaves to mourn ten children - Iona Headley in the USA, Clyde Powell in Tortola, Clifford Walwyn and Lester Tyson in St. Thomas, Errol, Jean, Gillian, Curtis Tyson, Lornette Claxton and Cherry-Ann Walwyn at home.
Six adopted children - Jasmine Jones in the USA, Shirleen Archibald in St. Kitts, Hon. Eric Evelyn, Dawn Kelly, Sandra Sturge and Adonis Rivers at home.
61 grand and great-grandchildren at home and abroad: Tessa Liburd, Shanita, Kenisha, Akeema, Abena, Adiola, Adicia, Oriel, Chelsee, Kadaijah, Judelle, Judene, Karina, Kiana, Kyla, Shari, Jeniah, Kevonce, Alika, T’yonae, Javancia, Javalicia, Aiyannae, Akajah, Niakah, Shanorya, Tyana, Sasha, Senaya, D’Zcia, J’Nahlia, Jahwanie, Makari & N’Kari, Malia , Monique, Daurenique , Wisdom and Bishen Johnson. Dujan, Akim, Shaheed, Quanito, Devon, Edward, Rashawn, Javier, Dishan, Javed, Grantley, Jamier, Jamar, Kejel, Jahmali , Jahmani, Amir, Sadiq, Jacoy, Kishan, Jadean and Jasai. )
Two Godchildren - Thomas Parris in USA and Dianne Prentice at home.
Three sons-in-law- Grantley Headley in Boston, Errol Williams in St. John, and Morrel Claxton at home.
Two daughters-in-law- Joan Powell in Tortola and Elieen Walwyn in St.Thomas.
Nieces and nephews at home and abroad including: Elvan, Clover, Verne, Kevin, Eversley, Chelsia, Ivan, Spencer, Ernecia, Nesha and Joycelyn Sturge in St. Croix.
Many cousins including: Sheryl Gumbs and family, Catherine Bradshaw and family, Edred Ward, Garilyn, Brenda, Belinda and Anthony Browne, The Caines in St.Kitts, The Hendricksons, The Farells and Esdailles in Church Ground and Prentice families in Nevis.

The funeral service will be held at The St.Georges Anglican Church on Saturday 24th April, viewing will commence at 1p.m and the service at 2p.m. The interment will be at the St. John Anglican Church Cemetery.
