    Title: Senior Restaurant Supervisor

    Department: Food & Beverage

    Reports to: Food & Beverage Manager

    Royal St Kitts Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Frigate Bay. With 239 luxury studios and suites each with its own fully stocked and equipped kitchen, it is simply your ‘home away from home’. Due to our expanding growth, we are hiring a Senior Restaurant Supervisor to join our team.

    Job Summary: The Senior Restaurant Supervisor will ensure the efficient operation of the Front of the House. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring efficient operation of all outlets to ensure productivity, quality and high customer service standards are upheld.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Coordinate daily Front of House operations

    • Take responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant

    • Supervise shifts

    • Prepare reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food, beverage control and sales

    • Assist in creating and executing plans for department sales, profit and staff development with the Food and Beverage Manager

    • Set budgets or agree on them with senior management

    • Assist with plan and coordination of menus

    • Coordinate the operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts

    • Recruit, train, manage, mentor and motivate staff, set attainable goals for staff

    • Respond to customer queries and complaints

    • Meet and greet customers, organize table reservations and offer advice about menu and wine choices

    • Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety

    • Check stock levels, order supplies and prepare cash drawers and petty cash.

    What you must know:

    • High school or equivalent education required

    • Atleast 3 years related hospitality experience preferred

    • Basic computer skills

    • Strong written and oral communication skills 

    • The ability to cope under pressure

    • Good business awareness for achieving successful performance

    • Good cooperation skills - the ability to both work in and lead a team

    • Strong planning and organizational skills to run a streamlined operation

    • The ability to work independently and make decisions confidently

    • Problem-solving ability, to resolve issues as they arise.
