    St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla Trading and Development Company Limited (TDC) is a leading private sector company in St. Kitts and Nevis and is an equal employment opportunity employer. TDC is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Compliance Analyst at the Compliance Department, on Central Street, Basseterre, St. Kitts.

     

    Job Summary

     

    The Compliance Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Compliance Manager in overseeing Corporate and AML/CFT/CPF Compliance for the TDC Group of Companies. He/she will assist with ensuring the Company operates in accordance with laws and regulations and contribute to the overall development and enhancement of the Compliance Program.

     

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

     

    · Assisting with the development, implementation, and enforcement of a risk-based Compliance Program

     

    · Conducting reviews and monitoring activities to ensure adherence to regulations and policies and procedures

     

    · Assisting with conducting the annual enterprise-wide AML/CFT/CPF risk assessments

     

    · Assisting with analyzing policies and making recommendations for changes and updates

     

    · Identifying risks and problematic areas for additional controls, education, or training

     

    · Assisting with facilitating compliant training sessions

     

    · Preparing and disseminating AML sensitization information for newsletters

     

    · Making valuable contributions towards the preparation of annual monitoring plans and schedules

     

    · Keeping proper records of all internal and external training materials, presentations, attendance, registration, evaluation forms, registers, quiz results, and certificates

     

    · Maintaining open communication with managers on significant findings and corrective actions

     

    · Liaising with Unit Managers on observations, assessment results, training needs, and making recommendations to remediate compliance issues

     

    · Conducting regular follow-ups to ensure corrective actions and implementation of recommendations

     

    · Providing support, communication, and guidance to Unit Managers and employees on compliance matters as needed

     

    · Staying current with new and amended AML/CFT/CPF Regulations and other related Laws and Regulations applicable to the TDC Group

     

    · Participating in AML/CFT/CPF and other relevant webinars, seminars, conferences and workshops to improve job knowledge and maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory policy requirements

     

    · Commitment to continual learning and personal development

     

    Qualifications

     

    · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law, Finance, or Business-related field

     

    · Minimum three (3) years work experience in Accounting, Compliance, Internal Auditing, Law, Risk Management, Banking/Finance, or Insurance Industry

     

    · CAMS or other related designations would be an asset

     

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

     

    · In-depth or adequate knowledge of Accounting Standards, Aviation Regulations, and/or Retail Operations

     

    · Adequate knowledge of the Banking Act, Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) Prudential Standards, Saint Kitts-Nevis AML/CFT/CPF Regulations, and the Insurance Act

     

    · Ability to understand and interpret laws and regulations

     

    · Highly developed communication skills
