Job Description: Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Frigate Bay, St. Kitts
Reports to: Accountant
Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly organized and diligent Accounts Payable Clerk at our headquarters in St. Kitts. This role is essential in providing accounting support across our group of companies, which span various countries within and outside of the region. The successful candidate will be a key player in ensuring smooth operations within the headquarters, offering a unique opportunity to engage with diverse teams and contribute to our multinational operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Use accounting software and other digital means to record, store, and analyze.
· Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
· Code documents according to company procedures.
· Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.
· Assist accountant and finance team with statistical, financial, accounting and auditing reports as needed.
· Perform general office duties, such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Associate degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
· Proven experience in an accounting role.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with procurement and accounting systems (QuickBooks).
· Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

· This position is based in our headquarters in St. Kitts but will require occasional international communication and coordination.
· Standard office hours apply, with the flexibility required to accommodate different time zones and peak business periods.
