Job Title: DEPUTY MANAGER
Reports To: GENERAL MANAGER
SUMMARY:
Bullseye Auto Rental is the premier rental car company in St. Kitts, and has been the company of choice for locals and visitors to the island since its inception 19 years ago. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Ensure day to day operational excellence leading to increased customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team and delegate responsibilities.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure best prices and terms.
- HR support including employee scheduling, busy season and holiday planning, hiring, onboarding, and Social Security contributions.
- Operational support ensuring VAT, vehicle registration, insurance, and accounts payable are timely completed each month.
- Execute updated strategy to document and track inventory, maintenance activities, repair orders, and cost.
- Excellent communicator and experience in change management.
- Provide customer service training for employees.
- Foster a positive work environment amongst employees.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors or Associates degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing a team or equivalent education.
- Customer service oriented with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Servant leader who understands HR principles, practices, and procedures.
- High proficiency in Excel, Microsoft, and comfortable using fleet management software.
- Positive disposition, friendly, and gets along well with others regardless of background.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST be able to work and/or be reachable to staff on weekends, holidays, and beyond 5pm for emergencies.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Professional and customer-service focused
COMPENSATION:
Base salary + end of year bonus based on performance. 100% of Social Security contributions covered by employer after end of probationary period.
