Position: Legal Secretary
The Legal Secretary performs complete secretarial duties for his/her assigned attorneys and other members of the practice group as needed.
Responsibilities:
. Maintain, file and organize client files
. preparing and editing documents such as letters and emails
. managing files
. scheduling and managing client appointments
. accepting phone calls and taking messages
. Preparing and submitting client bills
. Docket deadlines, responses, for assigned practice group
. Maintain calendars and schedules for assigned attorneys
. Demonstrate a high level of ethical conduct and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and Firm information
. Additional administrative duties as assigned, such as scheduling conference rooms, making copies etc.
Qualifications:
. A minimum of five (5) CSEC subjects including English
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Publisher
. An Associate's Degree in Business Administration or General Studies would be preferred.
