The Position:
The Product Strategy and Communications Associate II will be responsible for overseeing communication strategies, generating demand, and developing products. The Associate will be required to exhibit a dynamic personality with excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across various Business Areas.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Product Development:
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams in the development of innovative financial products and services (i.e., product specifications, pricing strategies, and go to market plans) that meet customer needs and market demands.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new products.
• Monitor the product lifecycle and review product performance by gathering customer feedback to inform ongoing improvements and enhancements.
2. Communication:
• Develop and implement comprehensive internal (including the Staff and Board) and external communication strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
• Craft compelling content for diverse communication channels, including newsletters, social media, press releases, and corporate presentations.
• Ensure consistent and cohesive messaging across all platforms, aligning with the company's brand identity and values.
• Act as a liaison between the company and media outlets.
3. Demand Generation:
• Design and execute targeted demand generation campaigns to drive lead acquisition and sales growth.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders/departments (Retail Banking, Credit, Electronic Services, Trust, NCI) to develop integrated campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
• Utilize CRM and automation tools to track, analyze, and optimize campaign performance.
• Develop and maintain a robust lead nurturing program to convert prospects into customers.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance demand for generation efforts.
4. Other Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform duties in an ethical and lawful manner and ensure that behavior is in keeping with the Bank’s Code of Conduct and complies with the internal control system and framework of the Bank.
• Perform other functions as necessary or as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications Management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a similar field.
Skills and Abilities:
• Strong presentation and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear and engaging content.
• Basic understanding of market research methodologies and competitive analysis.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools with an aptitude for mastering new technology.
• Creative mindset with the ability to contribute fresh ideas for product development and marketing strategies.
• Self-starter with the keen interest to learn in a fast paced environment.
• Genuine interest in the financial services industry and a desire to contribute to product development and marketing efforts.
• Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and make recommendations based on findings.
