Royal St Kitts Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Frigate Bay. With 227 luxury studios and suites each with its own fully stocked and equipped kitchen, it is simply your ‘home away from home.’ Due to our expanding growth, we are hiring Painter to join our team. 

Position Summary: The Painter is responsible for performing painting, finishing, and drywall maintenance work on interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. This role ensures that all painted, finished, and repaired areas meet company quality standards, are well maintained, and contribute to the overall appearance and safety of the property.  

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, priming, and repairing drywall. 

• Perform drywall installation, finishing, texturing, and repair of cracks, holes, and other imperfections. 

• Apply paints, varnishes, stains, lacquers, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, woodwork, furniture, and equipment. 

• Mix and match paints to ensure color consistency and proper finish. 

• Safely operate and maintain painting and drywall tools, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, taping knives, and sanding equipment. 

• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure safe storage of paints, chemicals, and supplies. 

• Follow all safety guidelines for handling paints, solvents, and chemicals. 

• Assist the Maintenance Team with general upkeep when painting or drywall duties are not required. 

Education and Experience: 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 

• 2+ years of painting and drywall experience required. 

• Experience in general maintenance is an asset. 

Skills: 

• Proven experience as a painter with professional drywall repair and finishing skills (required). 

• Knowledge of painting techniques, drywall texturing, and finishing methods. 

• Ability to handle painting and drywall tools, power equipment, and ladders safely. 

• Good eye for detail, precision, and color matching. 

• Physical stamina to bend, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods. 

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or in a team. 

Working Conditions: 

• Work is performed indoors and outdoors. 

• Exposure to paints, solvents, dust, and fumes. 

• May require lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights. 

Terms of Employment: Full Time, Weekend, Holiday,
