Royal St Kitts Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Frigate Bay. With 227 luxury studios and suites each with its own fully stocked and equipped kitchen, it is simply your ‘home away from home’. Due to our expanding growth, we are hiring a Bartender to join our team.
Position Summary: The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring excellent guest service at the bar. This role requires knowledge of drink recipes, bar equipment, and service standards to provide guests with an enjoyable, and memorable experience.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Qualification & Skills:
• High school diploma
• Excellent command of the English Language, reading, writing and speaking
• 2 years experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer skills
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate
Working Conditions:
• Constant standing and walking through out shift.
• Frequent lifting and carrying of (30) thirty pounds.
• Able to ascend or descend stairs and ramps.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Terms of Employment: Full Time, Weekend, Holiday (Shifts)
Transportation/Travel: Bus shuttle transportation is available.
