Job Title: Hotel Night Manager – Part Time
Job Summary: The Hotel Night Manager will be responsible for overseeing all hotel operations during the evening shift, including managing the front desk, handling guest inquiries, ensuring property security, and overseeing maintenance and housekeeping departments. The Night Manager will be the main point of contact for staff and guests during the shift.
Minimum Requirements:
· Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality is required
· Degree/Diploma in Hospitality
· The ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions independently
· Must be detail-oriented, organized, driven, and capable of multitasking
· Exceptional communication skills
· Familiarity with hotel management software and basic accounting procedures is essential, as you will be responsible for reconciling daily transactions and financial reports
· Passionate about hospitality and thrive in a nighttime environment
· Must have leadership skills, excel at conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
· Must be willing to work weekends and public holidays
· Hours will be 5pm to 11pm
Responsibilities:
· Overseeing Front Desk Operations and managing guest arrivals and departures, making customer service a top priority
· Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure smooth operations
· Conducting property walks throughout the shift to ensure safety and security and report/rectify any issues found
· Ensuring exceptional guest experience, handling complaints in a timely and professional manner and managing special requests
· Reconciling daily transactions, posting all charges, and completing the nightly audit and reports
· Work closely with the day management team to ensure a smooth handover of information and continuity of service
· Maintain accurate records and logs of all pertinent information
· Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures and ensuring the safety and security of the premises
· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and employee satisfaction
