We are seeking a suitably qualified professional to fill the role of Delivery Driver.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Delivery Driver shall be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of product to customers.

These responsibilities also include but are not limited to the following: 

1. Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and report any defects (e.g. water, oil etc.) to the Supervisor 

2. Drive the truck safely, following traffic rules, and maintain a clean and tidy cab.

3. Load the truck with the correct stock and follow the daily route for deliveries, ensuring accurate product codes and sales records.

4. Provide valid bills to customers, ensure charge bills are signed and report any issues with customers immediately.

5. Record all sales accurately in the handheld device under the correct customer’s name

6. Return void bills and ensure returns are accurately accounted for upon returning to the loading bay.

7. Complete daily cash settlements, ensuring all money is accounted for upon return to the company

8. Report any accidents immediately.

9. Ensure compliance with all training requests and execute required training.

10. Complete any other job-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Five (5) CXC including English & Math

• A minimum of three (3) years’ Sales experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Environment

• Excellent Customer Service Skills; Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

• Must have valid driver license
