    Job Title: Auto Mechanic – Concrete Plant

    Employment Type: Full-Time 

    Job Description 

    We are seeking a skilled and reliable Auto Mechanic to join our concrete plant operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and servicing of concrete plant equipment, vehicles, and machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on concrete plant equipment, vehicles, and heavy machinery 

    • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults 

    • Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with safety and operational standards 

    • Maintain accurate maintenance and service records 

    • Minimize equipment downtime through preventative maintenance 

    • Work closely with plant operators and management to address mechanical issues promptly 

    Minimum Requirements 

    • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience working with concrete plant equipment, vehicles, and machinery 

    • Strong academic/theoretical background in automotive or mechanical engineering (trade certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification required) 

    • Hands-on technical experience in mechanical repairs and maintenance 

    • Sound knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy-duty equipment 

    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams 

    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 

    Preferred Attributes 

    • Experience working in an industrial or concrete production environment 

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 

    • Strong commitment to workplace safety 

    • Good communication and teamwork skills
