    Job Title: Welder – Concrete Plant 

    Employment Type: Full-Time 

    Industry: Concrete / Construction / Heavy Equipment 

    Job Description 
    We are seeking an experienced and skilled Welder to join our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, fabrication, and repair of concrete plant equipment, structures, and machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations. 

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication work on concrete plant equipment, machinery, and structural components 

    • Repair wear, cracks, and damage on hoppers, silos, conveyors, frames, and other plant structures 

    • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications 

    • Carry out preventative maintenance and emergency repair work as required 

    • Ensure all welding work complies with safety, quality, and operational standards 

    • Maintain welding tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition 

    Minimum Requirements 

    • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a welder in a concrete plant, construction, or heavy industrial environment 

    • Relevant academic/theoretical qualification in welding or metal fabrication (trade certificate, diploma, or equivalent) 

    • Strong hands-on technical experience in welding and fabrication 

    • Proficiency in arc welding, MIG, and gas cutting (experience with additional welding methods is an advantage) 

    • Ability to work with mild steel and heavy structural steel 

    • Strong understanding of welding safety procedures 

    Preferred Attributes 

    • Experience repairing heavy machinery and plant equipment 

    • Ability to work independently and under pressure 

    • Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality 

    • Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
