    Job Title: Mason /Finish Carpenter 

    Employment Type: Full-Time 

    Job Description 
    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mason/Finish Carpenter to join our  operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for masonry, concrete finishing, and structural repair work within the concrete plant to ensure safe, durable, and efficient plant facilities and infrastructure. 

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Carry out masonry work including block laying, brickwork, plastering, and concrete finishing 

    • Repair and maintain concrete structures such as floors, walls, foundations, pits, channels, and platforms 

    • Perform formwork, shuttering, and minor concreting works as required 

    • Identify and repair cracks, surface damage, and structural wear in plant facilities 

    • Ensure all work meets quality standards, specifications, and safety requirements 

    • Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in good condition 

    Minimum Requirements 

    • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a mason in an industrial, construction, or concrete production environment 

    • Relevant academic/theoretical training in masonry or building construction (trade certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification) 

    • Strong hands-on technical experience in masonry and concrete works 

    • Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and specifications 

    • Knowledge of concrete mixing, curing, and finishing techniques 

    • Strong understanding of workplace safety practices 

    Preferred Attributes 

    • Experience working in a concrete plant or industrial facility 

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

    • High attention to detail and quality workmanship 

    • Physically fit and able to work in an industrial environment
