Imperial Bay Residences is conveniently located in Half Moon Bay. We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Security Team.
Job Summary: The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the safety of tenants, employees, and Imperial Bay Residences property. The Security Officers are expected to promote and enforce safety rules and act as a visible deterrent against irregular activity.
Responsibilities:
• Protect property and tenants from theft, damage, trespassing, or accidents
• Provide a visible presence that enforces safety and security.
• Patrol designated property to monitor and prevent intrusion, damage, hazards, and breaches.
• Identify and investigate suspicious behavior, threats, and irregular activity and respond to alarms.
• Monitor and control the entrance and departure of employees and visitors according to prescribed protocol
• Detect and confront unauthorized persons and violators of security procedures and report to authorities.
• Check property through electronic monitoring systems and report any issues.
• Monitor and prevent the movement of prohibited items into and out of the property
• Prepare written reports on daily activities, observations, and incidents
• Inspect and test security systems and report faults.
Qualifications/Skills:
• Ability to read and write English well.
• Interact with guests and colleagues in a professional manner.
• A clean criminal record.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to identify potential risks and hazards.
• Must possess a high level of integrity and respect for all.
• Must be prepared to follow instructions and obey the rules
• Must be able to stand and move around for long hours.
• Adapt to changing environments to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Prior knowledge of security operations and safety practices.
All security officers are responsible for their transportation to and from work.
Selected persons must be able to work on shifts, including overnight, public holidays, and weekends
