    TITLE: SALES & EVENTS COORDINATOR

    DEPARTMENT: ADMINISTRATION 

    REPORTS TO: DARREN THOMPSON 

    Royal St Kitts Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Frigate Bay. With 239 luxury studios and suites each with its own fully stocked and equipped kitchen, it is simply your ‘home away from home.’ Due to our expanding growth, we are hiring a Sales and Events Coordinator to join our team. 

    JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Sales and Events Coordinator to coordinate the planning and execution of events. This role acts as a key liaison between clients, internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless event delivery while supporting revenue generation and client satisfaction.  

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  

    • Assist the sales team with proposals, contracts and client follow-ups 

    • Respond to sales inquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings 

    • Coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences, trainings and special events 

    • Coordinate with catering, housekeeping and external vendors 

    • Conduct site visits and client walkthroughs 

    • Ensure deposits and final payments are collected  

    • Perform clerical receptionist duties such as filing and photocopying 

    • Provide tours to guests of event spaces 

    • Create Banquet Event Orders for future events 

    • Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with business objectives  

    • Create, schedule and publish engaging content (posts, reels, stories, carousels) 

    • Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone and visual identity 

    • Stay up to date with social media trends, tools and platform updates 

    • Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming and directing them appropriately  

    • Answer, screen and forward incoming calls 

    • Answer general queries in person, by telephone or email 

    • Respond to guest reviews on all social media platforms 

    QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:  

    • Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality/Tourism Management 

    • Experience in Event Management 

    • Experience in Social Media Management 

    • Strong F&B background 

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills 

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and Canva 

    Terms of Employment: Full Time 

    Transportation/Travel: Bus shuttle transportation is available 

    Any special demand: Must be proficient in English
