PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Accounting Officer provides support within the Accounting Department by managing a variety of functions relating to Data Entry and Payment Processing.
SCOPE
The Accounting Officer reports functionally to the Deputy Regional Accounting & Administrative Manager, and is responsible for compiling, processing and maintaining customer accounts and financial transactions on behalf of Delta Petroleum Nevis Ltd; while providing professional customer service and other administrative duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- An Associate Degree or higher and academic background in accounting with at least 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
- The ability to maintain the financial and payroll information with high accuracy.
- Knowledge of office and professional business environment
- Attention to details and ability to multi-task is an asset and a must.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional presentation and conduct required.
