 Job Description

    The Position:  

    The Employee Experience Specialist enhances the overall employee journey by leading initiatives focused on engagement, recognition, wellness, and organizational culture. The Specialist also serves as a liaison between HR, employees, and the Staff Association, supporting strategic HR initiatives while ensuring confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance with organizational policies and standards.  

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    1.  Employee Engagement and Culture Development:  

    • Design, implement, and monitor employee engagement initiatives for the Bank. 

    • Coordinate employee engagement surveys, pulse surveys, and feedback sessions. 

    • Analyze engagement data and develop actionable improvement plans. 

    • Support the development of a positive organizational culture aligned with the Bank’s values and strategic goals. 

    2.  Employee Onboarding and Offboarding Experience:   

    • Manage and enhance the employee onboarding experience to ensure smooth integration into the organization.  

    • Coordinate welcome packages, orientation sessions, and onboarding checklists. 

    • Conduct exit experience coordination including exit interviews and feedback analysis. 

    • Ensure consistent and professional employee lifecycle touchpoints from entry to separation. 

    3.  Recognition, Rewards and Appreciation Programs

    • Develop and manage employee recognition initiatives.  

    • Coordinate long service recognition, milestone celebrations, and appreciation programs. 

    • Maintain records and reports on recognition activities. 

    • Recommend improvements to enhance motivation and morale. 

    4.  Employee Engagement, Wellness and Staff Initiatives

    • Plan, coordinate and execute employee engagement activities, appreciation events, teambuilding initiatives, and corporate cultural celebrations. 

    • Design and implement wellness and wellbeing programs.  

    • Manage event logistics, and post-event evaluations to ensure continuous improvement. 

    • Support health, safety, and employee welfare communications to promote a positive and supportive work environment. 

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or related field. 

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources, Employee Engagement or related HR functions. 

    • Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating employee engagement initiatives, wellness program or corporate events.  

    Preferred Qualifications and Experience

    • Certification in Human Resources (e.g. SHRM, HRCI etc.) or a related professional designation. 

    • Experience in coordinating onboarding, employee lifecycle activities and staff engagement initiatives.

    Skills and Abilities

    ? Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.  

    ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

    ? Strong event planning and coordination abilities.

    ? High level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.   

    ? Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret engagement data and prepare reports.

    ? Creative thinking and innovation in designing culture and engagement initiatives.

    ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR Systems. 

    ? Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
