POSTION SUMMARY

The University of Medicine and Health Sciences is recruiting to employ professional and dedicated Security Guards with excellent customer service and security skills to join our tight team

THE APPLICANT WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Provide safekeeping of facilities and equipment and the safeguarding of sensitive information 

- Control building access, and restricts access to facilities to authorized personnel.  

- Maintains log of all personnel entering or leaving the facilities

- Will be required to perform all security duties assigned under limited supervision utilizing instructions developed for guidance and direction

- Guards, who are also called Security Guards, will rotate as assigned to these shifts as posted by the Chief of Security (C.O.S.)

- Manning the Security Booth

- Oversee the continuous monitoring and protection of facilities, personnel and information systems. Evaluate suspected security breaches and recommend corrective actions (including incidents involving students internal and external

- Oral and written communication skills

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1.First Aid Certificate, not compulsory but considered an asset
2.The ability to react calmly, quickly and effectively in emergency situation
