We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for our St. Kitts facility, API HAROWE, a Regal Rexnord Company.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Assurance Technician’s responsibilities include assisting with the development of quality systems, procedures, and quality controls to ensure that products consistently meet performance and quality specifications. The Quality Technician is a strong technical resource who quickly, effectively, and permanently resolves quality problems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned
· Review and understand customer test requirements
· Set up and operate various testing equipment
· Perform and interpret test results
· Perform and document results of life testing
· Independent preparation of customer test reports
· Perform receiving inspection using inspection equipment/software
· Perform 1st article inspections
· Perform final pre-cap inspections
· Support multiple testing projects simultaneously
· Coordinate with production control and operations to obtain parts and to ensure compliance
· May assist with equipment audits
· May be required to work occasional overtime
QUALIFICATIONS
· High School education or GED equivalent; Technical associate’s degree preferred
· Experience with various test/measurement equipment a plus
· Familiarity with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System requirements a plus
· Must possess a basic understanding of electricity and electrical quantities, such as current, voltage, et.
· Must have experience with computers and be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
· Must have good eyesight and hand eye coordination
