    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER VACANCY

    First Federal Co-operative Credit Union Limited is a fast-growing financial institution with three full-service branches in St. Kitts and Nevis.  We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Officer.  

    The Business Development Officer is responsible for increasing the organization’s sales through marketing and research. The Business Development Officer also identifies new business opportunities and makes recommendations about how the organization can operate more 
    effectively and efficiently. The role holder is the main liaison between the Business and related vendors, manages the social media and competitor management.  

    Key Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to) 

    1. Proactively manages the financial services landscape to stay at the cutting edge. 

    2.  Provide monthly reports on the performance of products, attainment of targets to improve organizational efficiency and status of social media. 

    3. Perform market research to improve product and service offerings, making recommendations where necessary. 

    4. Analyze marketing or promotion processes to identify gaps and provide recommendations for implementation to various departments. 

    5. Monitor competitor activity and keep abreast of market trends.  

    6. Own the content, copy, calls-to-action, and conversion performance of the Credit Union's public website. 

    7. Manage the content calendar across website, email, social media, and digital signage. 

    8. Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all member-facing channels. 

    9. Ensure that all digital media platforms, including website and social media pages are updated.  

    10. Monitor all social media pages in terms of the level of engagement, postings and analytics.  

    11. Responsible for maintenance of all FFCCU’s applications that aid with the marketing activities. 

    12. Work closely with department heads to identify and develop new marketing or promotional strategies. 

    13. Implement and execute new marketing strategies. 

    14. Monitor the implementation of newly launched products ensuring they are risk rated. 

    15. Manage the creation and production of marketing materials. 

    16. Lead all promotional activities. 

    17. Plan and execute public awareness and marketing/sponsorship activities.  

    18. Serve as the point of contact for all sponsorship requests.  

    19. Represent the Credit Union at various functions and activities to enhance the Credit Union’s image. 

    20. Evaluate and recommend community sponsorships based on measurable acquisition outcomes ensuring that every sponsorship have a pre-set application or membership target and a post-event ROI report. 

    21. Recommend First Federal’s financial products and services to members and prospects to meet personal and business needs.  

    22. Evaluate sales performance and identify creative strategies to achieve set targets.  

    23. Prepare and submit budget assumptions for marketing and promotional items.  

    24. Lead on the end-to-end campaign process. 

    25. Execute weekly targeted campaigns to defined member segments including but not limited to: members with maturing loans, dormant members, new members, single-product members, high-balance savers without active loans, and life-event cohorts. 

    26. Maintain a documented pipeline of member opportunities with weekly status updates. 

    27. Lead win-back and reactivation campaigns for dormant or inactive members. 

    28. Perform member satisfaction survey and monitor results across all services for recommended remediation strategies. 

    29. Responsible for conceptualization and coordination of production of all FFCCU Ads   

    30. Ensure brand compliance.  

    31. Assist with special projects as required. 

    32. Any other duties assigned. 

    Preferred Education and Experience 

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting or a related field  

    • At least three years’ experience in a similar role

    • Copywriting and content development skills suitable for email, social, and web channels. 

    Proficiency in the applications used by the FFCCU, including Mailchimp, Business Intelligence, JotForm and Microsoft Forms, graphic design software, video editing software, website content management systems, social media management tools, and Microsoft Office. Willingness and ability to learn new platforms as the FFCCU’s toolkit evolves is a condition of the role. 

    • Data literacy: ability to interpret dashboards, segment member data, and make decisions based on quantitative evidence rather than impression. 

    • Emotionally Intelligent 

    • Ability to work hours outside of normal working hours, including weekends. 

    • Teamworking skills 

    • Must hold a driver’s license 

    • Brand Consciousness
